James
James joined MEB Crane Hire in 2025 as our 50-ton driver and has since been promoted to Crane Hire Manager. A true all-rounder, he can operate all of our mobile cranes, is currently gaining his lorry loader qualification and is one of our CPCS Appointed Persons. Whether he’s carrying out site visits, preparing lift plans, providing quotations, or out on site operating a crane, James plays a key role in ensuring every lift runs safely and efficiently.
Jason
With over 23 years of crane operating experience, Jason joined MEB Crane Hire in 2020 and has been an integral part of the team ever since. Having worked on projects around the world, he brings a wealth of knowledge, skill and expertise to every lift, making him one of our most experienced operators.
Austin
Austin joined the team in June 2021 and has over eight years of crane operating experience. As our dedicated lorry loader specialist, he’s known for his precision and professionalism on every job. Outside of work, Austin swaps building sites for the stage as the drummer in his own rock band.
Reg
With more than 20 years of crane operating experience, Reg joined MEB Crane Hire in 2023 and quickly became a trusted member of the team. Bringing a wealth of knowledge and a calm, practical approach, he’s always happy to share his experience and show the rest of the operators how it’s done.
Matty
Matty is the youngest member of our crane team and passed his crane operator qualification on his very first attempt. Already proving himself to be a capable and enthusiastic operator, he has a bright future ahead and we’re proud to support his development as he continues to grow within the industry.
Pat
Pat joined MEB Crane Hire in 2026 and has taken charge of operating our largest crane, the 50-tonne Liebherr. With his experience, confidence and positive attitude, he’s already become a valuable member of the team and continues to demonstrate his strengths on every project.
